At the end of July, ELUX appeared in the UK’s largest FMCG magazine BETTER RETAILING, for its recycle bucket program, GREEN WINGS.

 

 

As a project focusing on the recycling of e-cigarettes, GREEN WINGS PROJECT aims to guide consumers to dispose of used disposable e-cigarettes in a safe and environmentally friendly way. Through the project, ELUX will provide green recycling bins to vape shops, supermarkets, gas stations, and other stores that sell e-cigarettes so that vapers can put used e-cigarettes in the bins when they go to the store. GREEN WINGS PROJECT can eliminate various hidden dangers caused by used e-cigarettes and reduce the possibility of the natural environment being polluted by waste e-cigarettes.

 

The recycling of e-cigarettes has always been a concern for many users and practitioners. At present, vapers or shop owners can hardly dispose of used disposable e-cigarettes by themselves, because it is not only dismantling and sorting but also needs to process waste batteries, parts stained with nicotine-containing e-liquid, sensors, and other electronic components at the same time. The processing of any accessory requires a professional team to ensure that the product can be recycled safely and environmentally. Otherwise, it will just turn a whole waste product into several waste parts, which is not safe and meaningless.

 

With the development of the e-cigarette market, vapers and sellers have an increasing demand for e-cigarette recycling. Many e-cigarette companies are cast about ways to contribute to environmental protection and the sound development of e-cigarettes. As a pioneer, ELUX has already taken the first step.

 

 

In Europe, especially in the UK, ELUX has launched a lot of GREEN WINGS recycling bins, which have received attention and support from all parties, and its influence is still expanding. Before the publication of BETTER RETAILING, many shop owners and retailers had already seen our recycling bins offline and expressed their strong cooperation intentions. ELUX plans to put more recycling bins around the world this year.
